Brent Dille

Brent was born and raised in Puyallup, Washington and moved to Olympia in 2000, when he took a position as an associate with then, Owens Davies Mackie. He was a shareholder at Owens Davies, P.S. and partner at Bean Gentry Wheeler & Peternell, PLLC before establishing Dille Law, PLLC.

Since graduating from law school in 1995, Brent has been guided by the philosophy of helping others. That desire led him focus his practice on estate planning and trust and estate administration and helping those families with aging parents and members who have special needs. His practice also includes advising and representing owners of closely held business, real estate investors and cities and municipal corporations.

Bryce Dille

Personal

Bryce and his wife Gretchen are life-long residents of Pierce County and have three children. Bryce has retained a continuing interest in athletics since his football-playing days at the University of Washington which included videotaping games for the Puyallup High School football team. He also enjoys golf, skiing, fishing, as well as all water-related activities.

Education

Bryce graduated in 1961 from the University of Washington with a major in political science and a minor in economics. He attended the University of Washington Law School and Gonzaga University, where he received a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree in 1966. Bryce received the Bureau of National Affairs Award which is given to the member of the law graduating class who has achieved the highest grades during the year immediately preceding graduation. Bryce was an associate editor of the Gonzaga Law Review.

Professional Memberships

Bryce is a member of the Phi Delta Phi Legal Fraternity and he is currently a member of the Washington State, Pierce County, and American Bar Associations. He is also a member of the Washington State and American Hospital Attorneys Associations. He has been a member at the Washington State Bar Association’s Disciplinary Board. He has served as a member of the Board of Trustees, as well as Secretary-Treasurer of the Pierce County Bar Association. He has been a member of the Legislative Committee and Continuing Legal Education Committee for Washington State Bar Association, as well as Special District Counsel. Bryce is listed in “Who’s Who in American Law.”

Admissions to Practice

He is admitted to practice before all Washington state and federal courts, the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court.

Areas of Practice

Bryce’s practice emphasizes real estate, business, construction law and health care law. He also has many years of experience in estate planning and probate matters.

Civic Activities

Good Samaritan Hospital Board of Directors (1972-1989), Puyallup Valley Chamber of Commerce (President 1974-1975), Puyallup Valley Daffodil Festival (President 1975-1976) and Mary Bridge Hospital Foundation Board (1992-1997). Previous activities also include Chairman of the Puyallup Valley United Way Drive, Puyallup School District Board of Directors, Activities Counsel of the Tacoma Art Museum, Tacoma-Pierce County Arts Commission, and Board of Directors and Secretary of the Mt. View-Edgewood Water Company (1969-1987).

 

Garrett Ratfield

Garrett has called the Puget Sound area “home” for nearly all his life. He grew up near Puyallup and attended Bellarmine Preparatory School in Tacoma before moving to San Diego to study finance. He graduated from the University of San Diego magna cum laude then returned to Washington to further his studies at the University of Washington School of Law. While at the University of Washington, Garrett was a student advocate for the Innocence Project Northwest and an avid competitor on the law school’s softball team.

Garrett’s practice focuses primarily on business and all matters real estate. Garrett has extensive experience in landlord-tenant issues, a practice area in which he has been trusted to teach the subject to other attorneys and host landlord seminars. He sees himself not just as his clients’ advocate but educator as well.
